Storytelling Camps and Residencies

The Liverpool Public Library has sponsored six camps over the last four years, that run Monday through Friday, during school breaks or summer,  for an hour and a half each day. These camps invite children grades 2-8 to learn and perform poems, stories and rhymes, and learn the basics of performance and public speaking.  If you desire a similar program, whether in a library, church or school-based setting, Mary can easily tailor a camp or residency to your particular needs.  Joellyn Murry at the Liverpool Public Library can attest to the value and engagement of these programs. joellyn.murry@lpl.org

*Courses

Mary has taught single night, full week, and multi-class courses to adults in the art of Storytelling.  She recently taught at the Chautauqua Institute during summer of 2023, and lectured for a three-class course at the Liverpool Public Library.  Mary has been invited back to Chautauqua Institute's Summer 2024 Season, to teach "Finding the Wisdom in Stories".  Courses can be focused and tailored to meet your particular needs, and time frames can easily be negotiated.
